What We Are Up To

Our topic this month is "People who help us"

We are always looking at our surroundings, and it is unsurprising that the topic of people who help us is so essential in helping us feel more comfortable in the big wide world. From firefighters to nurses, police officers to our own key workers, we are looking at lots of imaginative activities about helpful people in everyday life!

We will also be making our lovely Father's Day cards.

Some of the activities we will be taking part in are -

We can make connections between people and places. We will be looking at our local community, from our friends to shopkeepers to fire fighters. We are hoping to have visits from the Fire brigade and the Police.

Our Role Play area is to include a Fire Engine, Police Station and Ambulance. We have uniforms to dress up in, and can help each other with our emergencies!

We will be spending lots of time out and about in our town, visiting the fire station, the library and different shops.

We will look at how we recycle things, and where they go, and how we can help.

We have our emergency vehicles in our outside area, and can junk model our own emergency service vehicles.

You can see the lovely work we will make up on Our Nursery Displays, and see our 'Image Gallery' page for photos of all Our Work and the fun we have learning about "People who help us".

Your first stop for quality childcare!
