We supported this very worthwhile cause with a Hey Duggee Day; children and carers dressed up, we took part in lots of Squirrel themed activities, and enjoyed a special Teddy Bears Picnic tea.

We had a brilliant day celebrating Halloween. We saw some brilliant costumes; lots of skeletons! We enjoyed lots of fun activities from baking Halloween cookies to a Spider Web hunt!

We had great fun exploring our pumpkins and the smell, taste and texture of these seasonal vegetables. We are also using Pumpkin in our Nursery menu this week.

We have been practising our number counting this week, and had great fun baking our chocolate cakes and making them into Dominos. They were yummy!

We are looking forward to Our very first Nursery Pet coming to live at Nursery. To get ready, we visited the pet shop to buy all the things are new little friend will need. We also had a look at the animals to see which one we might like, and have been thinking of names.

We have a new addition to Our Baby Room; a fantastic fun and colourful ball pool! Our Children are enjoying the space so much, hiding, jumping and playing together.

We used lots of different sized boxes to create our own magical houses as part of our new topic 'Magical Me'. Some were big enough for us to fit in, some we were able to stack very high to make towers!

We have been enjoying listening to our story today 'Stickman'. As part of our outside time, we have collected our own sticks to make Stickman and his Stick Lady Love!

We had lots of fun playing with the shaving foam. Our youngest children enjoyed the feel of it in their hands, and our oldest children were able to practice their mark making.

Today was Our Leavers Concert. All Our Children looked fantastic in their beautiful dresses and smart shirts to sing and performance their songs and rhymes. We will miss them all!

Our Leavers Concert preparations are now in full swing, with Our Children learning their songs, poems and dances to perform to their mummies and daddies; We are always so proud of the effort they put in, and there isn't a dry eye to be seen!

As part of our new topic, People Who Help Us, we had a visit from a local Nurse. She talked to us about her job, and the different instruments she might use. Our Children really enjoyed her visit, and had lots of questions!

Our Under 2 Group enjoy lots of stimulating activities. From our very youngest babies to our toddlers, we always promote kind hands and sharing through our play.

Our New Sensory Garden is now in the process on being completed. We are looking forward to having an additional outside space. Our new garden will be include a fragrant herb and flower garden, a construction sand pit, bug hotel and tree tepee. We can't wait to use it!

We have been celebrating Easter today with lots of exciting games. We have been playing Easter Bowling, Pin the Tail on the Bunny and of course an Easter Egg Hunt to name but a few!
We had our snack with the Easter Bunny, and everyone brought in their Easter Bonnets for our hat competition!

We have had fun all week with Our Easter Fundraising games. The 3/5 have been running Guess the Easter Eggs in the Jar, Guess the Name of the Easter Bunny and an Easter treasure Hunt. They are raising money to buy Our first Nursery Pet!

We celebrated World Book Day in Nursery by having a pyjama party. We all wore our nightwear, brought our favourite teddy with us and a bedtime story from home to share with all our friends. Everyone chose a book from our book borrowing boxes to share at home with Mummies and Daddies to help support the Share A Story campaign.
We enjoyed lots of stories, poems and fun at Nursery, and a special book themed menu!
