World Book Day

We celebrated World Book Day in Nursery by having a pyjama party. We all wore our nightwear, brought our favourite teddy with us and a bedtime story from home to share with all our friends. Everyone chose a book from our book borrowing boxes to share at home with Mummies and Daddies to help support the Share A Story campaign.
We enjoyed lots of stories, poems and fun at Nursery, and a special book themed menu!

Letter Sound 'n'

Our sound of the week is 'n'. We have been making our own birds nests using shredded wheat and mini eggs. Yummy!

Happy Valentine's!

We had a lovely Valentine's Day with our friends at Nursery. We enjoyed a special Valentine's menu including Really Enormous Homemade Chocolate Buttons and Heart Shaped Pizzas. We made our own baking delights to take home for our Mummies and Daddies.

Learning Our Numbers

We used lots of different methods to learn our numbers today. We learnt how to measure, count and find the correct digit and use numbers to make patterns.

We had Our Dress Rehearsal today for Our Christmas Performances. It went very well and all Our Children sang their songs beautifully. We can't wait to show Our Mummies and Daddies!

Children in Need

We supported Children in Need this year by taking part in 'The Big Spotacular'. All of our children had a Pudsey Coin Fill sheet which they stuck their coins onto for the charity. We had a spotty Pudsey Tea Party where all the children made something for us to eat.

Ofsted Inspection

We have had Our Ofsted Report from our recent inspection. It was a very busy, and as you can imagine a rather stressful day!
Ofsted found our Nursery provision 'good'. We were really pleased with the feedback we were given, and that some lovely things were said about Our Nursery.

Fruit Salad

Our Under 2 Group really enjoyed making their fruit salads. They were able to explore the textures, tastes, and smells of different fruits.

Messy Porridge

Alongside our story today 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears', we got to make sticky porridge. We mixed it with glitter and paint, and measured it out into different sized containers.
